Day 3: God Shapes Leaders in the Quiet

Scripture: Psalm 46:10 – “Be still, and know that I am God.”
Reflection:
Moses spent 40 years in the wilderness, away from the spotlight and among sheep, learning humility, patience, and trust in God.
God used the quiet, hidden seasons to prepare Moses for leadership of the Israelites. Likewise, God’s preparation often happens behind the scenes, unseen by others but deeply formative.
The church often overlooks these quiet seasons, yet they are essential. In stillness, God teaches us discernment, builds spiritual depth, and strengthens our inner character. These qualities become the foundation for future fruitfulness and impact.
Action:
Dedicate time today to stillness and prayer. Ask God to reveal the lessons hidden in your waiting. Reflect on how God has been working in your life even when it has not been visible.
Prayer:
Lord, help me embrace the quiet seasons of preparation. Teach me to be still and know that You are God, trusting that You are shaping me for Your purposes.
