Living As Ambassadors Of Christ

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Praise be to our God who is always there for us each day and night. We are instructed to not -take on the lifestyle of the world. It is a Babylonian system where the worship of God is not honored. We read in the Old Testament God telling the Israelites not to take after the pagan nations because He had separated them as His people. There were commands given to Moses so that he could teach the Israelites God’s ways. The pagan nations worshipped idols, sacrificed their children to these gods, and practiced all manner of sexual misconduct and God did not approve this way of living.

Everyone born of the water, spirit and the blood must represent the kingdom of God wherever they go. Mary Mwakalu

This is the same in the world today. As Christ’s Ambassadors, we are not of this world and should not live in the ways of this world, John 17:16

They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. We are of God the Holy One who entertains no sin. Our lives should imitate Him in every way, reading and meditating on His word daily. The purpose of every believer is to live according to the virtues of the kingdom of God because that is God’s will for us as His Ambassadors.

Prayer: Thank You, Lord God because Your will is perfect for me. Today I choose to not live as the world does. Help me to walk in the ways of God so that I may be transformed by the renewing of my mind. As I submit to Your leading Spirit of God, help me to prove the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.
